The Indian Graduate Students Association - University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign

Welcome!

The IGSA of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is a forum dedicated to the celebration of the rich Indian culture and way of life. From the lights that light up the Quad on Diwali and the splashing colors of Holi, to the festivities of Eid-ul-fitr and Guru Nanak jayanthi: IGSA provides loads of opportunities to bring out the best in every Indian.

The countless Dance and Musical nites, the mouthwatering food that comes along with each of them, and the sheer number of people who participate leaves a person feeling at home, away from home...

In Retrospect...

Freshers' Night

October 1, 2010

Freshers' Night was a potpurri of talent... Outstanding Dance performances, a Hilarious Skit by UIUC's finest and mouthwatering chaat to top it off. Need more be said?

The freshers' night was a huge success, breaking the ice between the newbies and bringing the others together. The sponsors, Mirsung, provided a treat for our tastebuds with some authentic chaat.

Diwali Quad Lighting

November 8, 2010

Freshers' Night was a potpurri of talent... The festival of lights brings out the best in the Quad (and the best in the photographers).

The main quadrangle of the university is lit up with hundreds of diyas, which spreads the warmth of Diwali (literally) amongst all!
